The relationship between language and culture and culture

Individual written essay

Teaching any aspect of a subject or new knowledge carries with it some foundations or reasons that come from further back in their research and the causes that reached it, also carry with them a language regardless of the form or manner seeing that language is a system of communication that occurs in any environment whether spontaneous or implemented that mostly occurs through some symbols that have a specific meaning but that is acquired over time and in the same way is evolving and all this is involved in a culture or a set of aspects that are based on a why.

Therefore, the answer to our question of whether to teach a language using culture or to teach culture using a language is more concrete, that is to say, to explain that when you teach a language you are teaching a culture because behind each language there is a culture that created it, stipulated it, and is part of a community.

learning a second language has many important aspects during the teaching process in which the teacher must influence whether the culture he has due to the language is part of the culture of every human being, one of the relevant things the interviewer told us was to learn to know the culture of the student in order to obtain excellent results in his learning process and to be able to start teaching him the culture of the language he is going to learn.

The teacher that I interviewed told us about a project that has viale in this mmento that is English-nauta through a platform in which it teaches students to interact with the new language in everyday situations in which they are exposed comparing the cultures of the native language and the second language.

·         Write a significant reflection about the answers of the interviewed

According to the answers that we could evidence clearly during the interview and the dialogue about culture and language we can see how this is a couple that works together and needs each other because they depend significantly because to learn a second language the teacher must be clear about the culture that the student has because this affects the learning process of the student, and the knowledge of a language needs the culture of their environment in order to be more easily adapted.

Conclusion about the Unit 1

The teaching of a second language is always contemplated in the process of learning and knowledge towards a new culture, towards a before and after a new knowledge, really when one obtains a new knowledge one begins to analyze things in a completely different way and much more when this knowledge is a new language knowing that it is part of a cultural process of a community, sometimes we feel that they are irrelevant or insignificant things but they are things that make you study and think that when you know their culture, their form of communication is probably much easier to acquire that is why we always talk about a union between language and culture since language is part of a culture but in the same way you learn a culture through a language so they are dichotomies a little difficult to understand but easy to interpret when you know the basis on which both were founded.
